Tampa Bay Chabad Wins Contest, Gets Playground
Kids can learn a lot on a playground. They learn about cooperation, sportsmanship, leadership, independence and to try new things. Conveying that message in a video, as well as a concerted voting campaign, helped Chabad of Tampa Bay, FL, win a national contest to receive a $20,000 grant for a new playground.

On Monday night, after an amazing sunny day of sports, water activities, and lots of learning, the shul at Camp Gan Yisroel-Montreal was literally shaking from the enthusiasm and spirit! When the CGI family, singer Eli Marcus and musician Fitche Bensimon get together it is an event not to be missed.
Jack Hananya of Long Island, N.Y., underwent a kidney transplant at Weill Cornell Medical Center after battling kidney disease for two decades. His donor was a Chabad rabbi. Hananya, a native Israeli, stands with his three sons, from left: Yuval, Guy and Tomer.

‘Guess Who Sat Next to Me on My flight to Israel..’
After boarding a plane to travel to Israel, Hindel Swerdlov, whose husband Yossi is Associate Director the Chabad Terror Victims Project, was pleasantly surprised to see who sat down next to her for the flight – the Israeli Olympic Judo winner whose hand would not be shaken by his Egyptian opponent. What ensued was a meaningful conversation about family, Israel. Chabad and the Rebbe that developed into a lasting friendship.
