This Shabbos at the Besht: Rabbi Gershon Avtzon is the Founder and Rosh Yeshiva of the Yeshivas Lubavitch Cincinnati. He will be giving a tribute to his uncle Yonah Avtzon, and discussing what we can learn from the mezuzos saga.

Tzeirei Agudas Chabad/Lubavitch Youth has sent out a press release announcing the launch of a new initiative. The initiative, appointing five Mashpi’im, whose role would be to attend to the needs of Chabad families in the Crown Heights community.

A 16-year-old boy who was arrested within the context of the investigation into the murder of Palestinian Arab woman Aisha Rabi and was released, related a trick played by police to extract information about his alleged involvement in stone-throwing incidents.
Users of Optimum and Cablevision in Crown Heights were left without access to the internet for most of Wednesday due to a damaged cable. As of 6:37pm, the issue has been resolved.
The Vaad Hatmimim released a video presentation highlighting the Rebbe’s appreciation for those who study his Torah. The video was premiered at the Vaad Hatmimim’s Halikut Siyum on Likkutei Sichos Cheilek Chof, 11 Shevat 5779.
