For nearly four decades, Rabbi Yehuda Krinsky served as the Rebbe’s secretary. He continues to serve as the chairman of Merkos L’Inyonei Chinuch and Machne Israel, and secretary of Agudas Chasidei Chabad. He was interviewed by JEM five times between 2009 and 2018.
Camp Chomesh has announced that its plans to open for the 2020 summer have been approved, marking it the first Lubavitch camp to have firm plans for opening. New York State camps remain in limbo.
As many of Crown Heights’s residents return from long stays in the hospital, they will require intensive rehabilitation, and the Crown Heights community has come together to provide home based community rehab. To make the initiative work, the rehab is seeking volunteers from the community to join.

Seven vehicles were involved in a large crash that spread crumpled up cars and debris across an entire Crown Heights block Wednesday night. The accident occurred around 10:15pm on New York Ave between East New York Ave and Lefferts Ave in Crown Heights.
