A man was arrested Friday afternoon after touching a Jewish woman inappropriately on Kingston Ave. The man was arrested after Shomrim, alerted to the unwanted touching, followed the man into a building, and directed the Police right to him.

A Jewish man was viciously assaulted while walking to Shul in Monticello, Friday night. Monticello Police have taken a report and are investigating the incident.

Authorities say a transformer fire caused a power outage in Manhattan leaving businesses, elevators. and subway cars without electricity. The New York City Fire Department said the fire started at West 64th Street and West End Avenue and has since affected at least 42,000 people by 8pm on Saturday.
