The photo shows what appears to be a teffillin booth in the background, as the boy with long peyot and sirtuk helps a soldier put on tefillin. Harav Menachem Mendel Lobkowsi, the Menahel of Bayis V’Gan in Yerushalayim visited Har Hertzel to put in Tefillin with the soldiers and visitors who came for Israels Rememberence Day. The son of Benjamin Netanyahu, Avner Netanyahu, also put on Tefillin.
It is agreed by all that the most hotly contested disagreement in shuls across the world is its temperature. For some it is always too hot, others too cold, and the poor Gabbai is always caught in the middle. This Gabbai just gave up trying to please anyone, I wonder how that worked out……..
