‘Roving Rabbis’ Report: Jewish Life in Remote Saskatchewan

It was a chilly night as we disembarked the plane at John G. Diefenbaker Airport, the winds sweeping through the endless plains. This was my third time in Saskatchewan, having previously been assigned by Chabad-Lubavitch headquarters to help out at local Chabad centers in Regina and Saskatoon for the holiday of Shavuot. But this time was different. I wouldn’t be spending just a few days in the major cities with an established Jewish community. I was here for a vastly different purpose: to meet Jews scattered throughout the province, in cities, towns and villages with no existing Jewish infrastructure, helping them keep their Jewish flame burning.

CGI Toronto Boys Return Home Charged to Continue Rambam Initiative

In conjunction with the completion of the 38th cycle of Rambam on 4 Menachem Av, CGI Toronto joined many other camps via live stream and celebrated the Siyum. The entire camp session was replete with encouragement and inspiration of Limud Harambam. From songs to skits the boys were propelled with motivation to undertake learning Sefer Hamitzvos. After optionally studying for a minimum of ten days and answering questions, each camper earned and was gifted the newly unveiled special children’s edition of Sefer Hamitzvos, titled, My Rambam, My Connection.

CTeen Xtreme Concludes 6th Summer

CTeen’s traveling sports camp, CTeen Xtreme, recently completed its sixth year. The two-week camp traveled from Denver, Colorado to Los Angeles, California, providing teens with an extraordinary opportunity to get out of their comfort zones and partake in many adventures throughout the journey.
