With great sadness we inform you of the passing of Mrs. Tzivia (Tzivke) Goldberg (Crown Heights) wife of Hrh”G R. Yosef Goldberg OB”M Rosh Yeshiva of Brunoy and daughter of Mume Sara Katzenelenbogen.

She is Survived by her Children R. Yaakov Goldberg (Crown Heights), Mrs. Bluma Osdoba (Crown Heights), Mrs. Rivka Cohen (Nachlas Har Chabad, IL), R. Yitzchok Goldberg (Migdal Haemek, IL), Mrs. Sara Klyne (Manchester, England) and Mrs. Brocho Wolf (Chicago, IL). And by her siblings R. Zalman Kazen (Clevland, OH), R. Moshe Katzenelenbogen (London, England) and R. Heishke Raskin (London, England).

UPDATE: The Levaya will take place Thursday and will be leaving from Shomrei Hadaas Chapel at around 1:30pm and will be passing 770 at around 2:00pm

Tragedy in Oholei Torah – Salomon Passes Away

Tragedy struck today in Oholei Torah with news on the untimely and tragic passing of Shloime (Salomon) Meshoyrer at the age of 52, he leaves behind family.

Salomon devotedly served as Cook to the Talmidim in Oholei Torah for the past 20 years and was well known by all for his devotion. He passed away on the job this afternoon when he suffered a massive heart attack which ultimately led to his passing.

The Levaya will be leaving Shomrie Hachomos at 12:30 today [Monday] and will be passing by Oholei Torah at around 1:30pm.

With sadness we inform you of the passing of Rebbetzin C. Ushpol, mother of Yibadlu Lechaim Tovim: Rabbi Zalmen Schmukler of Los Angeles and Rabbi Efraim Schmukler of Montreal.

The Levaya will begin in Montreal on Monday night, 8:00pm at Chesed Shel Emes on 935 Beaumont in Montreal; it will then proceed to New York.

The Levaya will leave the Shomrei Hadas chapel on Tuesday at around 10:00am and pass 770 at around 10:30am.

Today beginning at 6:30pm there will be a Completion and dedication ceremony of a Safer Torah that is being donated to the Jewish Children’s Museum in memory of Leo and Lotte Hoyda A”H and Ari Halberstam HY”D. The grand procession will start at 8:00pm.
