Chabad Lubavitch emissaries will begin arriving in New York next week from all parts of the world for the Kinus Hashluchim—the annual get-together of emissaries, their parents, friends and supporters, and a record number are expected to attend this year.
When Shluchim arrive in Crown Heights for the Kinus, they’ll be marking 20 years since Gimel Tamuz. In that span, the “Rebbe’s Shlichus” nearly doubled, and a great number of those new Shluchim have never even seen the Rebbe.
After an extensive search for a suitable location for the Gala Banquet of Kinus HaShluchim 5774, the organizers of the Kinus unveil their choice. The Banquet, one of the largest events of its kind in New York City, is a celebration of the worldwide Shluchim and the Chabad- Lubavitch movement.

Friday, hundreds of Shluchos made their way to the Ohel where they took time to Daven at the burial place of the Rebbe and the Rebbetzin – whose 25th yohrtzeit was marked this Shabbos.
For Thursday afternoon the Shluchos made their way to the Edan Palace Conference Center in Williamsburg, where they participated session covering a wide array of different topics, from raising Chassidisher Children to maintaining enthusiasm for Shlichus.
