kinus hashluchos
kol hacovod to all the organisers, shluchos and guests.
the speakers were great, however it seems to me that most of the speeches are pretty similar, somewhat cliche’ and almost preaching, why cant the shluchos get speakers like Rabbi Jonathan Sacks for example.
Or is it, that the organisers that the kind of speakers they get for the shluchos is what’s most inspiring for them as opposed to the shluchim?
Which brings to mind that in truth it’s not so much the speakers that create inspiration as most speaches never create long term inspirtation, perhaps they help facilitate the inspiration gained from all shluchim uniting for the common cause, spending time at 770 and the ohel, that’s the real inspirtation-pnimiyus. The beatiful kinus made by the organisers helps facilitate this (and show gratitude for shluchim’s and shluchos’s amazing work).
