‘World’s Longest Salt Cave’ Found in Israel

Israeli cave explorers said Thursday that a salt cave with striking stalactites near the Dead Sea is the world’s longest, beating the record-holder in Iran. The cave named Malham, stretching over 10 kilometers (6.25 miles), runs through Mount Sodom, Israel’s largest mountain, and spills out to the southwest corner of the adjacent Dead Sea.

Iran Ordered Rocket Attack, Aimed to Interfere in Israeli Election

After some Hamas officials claimed a rocket attack on central Israel early Monday morning which injured seven had been ‘accidental’ or caused by ‘bad weather’, senior officials in the Gaza-based terror organization and Egypt now say that the attack was intentional – and carried out at the behest of Iran, with the intention of altering the outcome of Israel’s upcoming general election.

IDF Attacks 15 Terrorist Targets in Gaza

Israeli warplanes attacked some 15 terror targets in the northern Gaza Strip overnight Monday, the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit said. Among the targets that were attacked were a military compound belonging to the Hamas terrorist organization in Beit Hanoun and a military compound belonging to the Islamic Jihad terrorist organization in Beit Lahiya.

Hamas Claims: Cease-Fire Has Taken Effect

Arab media reported a cease-fire between the Hamas Islamic movement in Gaza and Israel came into effect at 10 PM this evening. A Hamas leader in Gaza claimed the cease-fire was achieved through intensive Egyptian mediation over the last few hours.

Honduras to Move Embassy to Jerusalem

Honduras announced plans to move its diplomatic mission in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, opening a new embassy in the Israeli capital city. President Juan Orlando Hernandez made the announcement Sunday, during the 2019 American Israel Public Affairs Committee conference in Washington DC.
