We have already had the privilege to meet with the leaders of other JCCs and learned of the many government programs and funding opportunities that are available for our seniors

As a long-time resident of Crown Heights, I’m deeply troubled by the fear-mongering tactics surfacing in our community elections. Our vibrant neighborhood deserves better than divisive campaigns.
With all the negative changes taking place in New York in the last few years, our neighborhood and community has experienced some of these changes as well, from increased crime to antisemitic incidents. We still have much work to do to restore a sense of safety and security on our streets.
Many people have been asking us, why are you running for the Vaad Hakohol/Crown Heights Jewish Community Council as a slate? This is the answer.
Until there is a significant change in the status quo, and the klepotocracy is replaced, the elections are unlikely to bring about the necessary improvements.

Currently, the city is proposing a slew of government-funded development projects to be enacted in exactly this area. The Shul Representatives, who play a crucial role in this process, recently held an independent meeting to address important matters related to the upcoming election.
