9-Year-Old Injured in Shabbos Morning Accident

CROWN HEIGHTS — A 9-year-old child was critically injured in an early Shabbos morning accident in the intersection of Utica Avenue and Eastern Parkway. EMS treated the boy and Hatzalahs assistance was not needed and according to DNAinfo he is currently listed in critical condition in Kings County Hospital.

Bustling Erev Shabbos Marred by Accident

A frightening, but boruch Hashem non-serious, accident occurred this afternoon in the heart of Crown Heights during the hectic hours of Shabbos shopping. A flat-bed truck driving up Kingston Ave. made a left turn onto Crown St., without noticing that a vehicle was being crushed on his left side as he did so.

School Bus, Garbage Truck Collide on Eastern Pkwy.

A Beis Rivka school bus filled with children on their way to school this morning sideswiped a garbage truck as they were traveling alongside each other on Eastern Parkway. Thankfully no one was injured and neither vehicle sustained significant damage. Hatzalah was summoned as a precaution and ensured that all the children were okay.

Reckless Driver Totals Luxury Mercedes

About an hour ago a black Mercedes, driven by an African-American male, was speeding at almost 100 MPH down Carroll St. toward New York Ave., as if it were the NASCAR race track. Sure enough, the vehicle lost control and crashed into a Lincoln ‘livery cab’ driven by a Hispanic male, which went crashing into the yard of an adjacent home.
