Tragedy on the Virgin Islands: Friends of Federmans Launch Campaign
On Tuesday evening tragedy struck on the Virgin Islands when the four-month-old daughter of Rabbi Asher and Henya Federman, the Shluchim on the island, fell into the water of the marina. The couple both jumped into the water to try to save their baby, and in the process Henya got stuck underwater for an extended period of time. Baby Shternie’s levaya took place in Old Montefiore Cemetery in New York late Thursday afternoon.
