Insider Published Video of Kinus, Asking 5,000 Rabbis About Rapper Kanye West
Insider News, formerly Business Insider, produced a video filmed at the Kinus getting Shluchim’s reactions to the outlandish antisemitic comments from Kanye West, a rapper who now goes by Ye.
The responses from the rabbis were mostly compassionate, hoping that he gets help for his mental health issues. Others offered to engage with him to learn about Jews and one even invited West to come over for some gefilte fish and kugel.
The video points out that the Kinus is the largest gathering of Jewish clergy in America. And culminates in the largest sit-down dinner in the New York area. The video also highlighted that 36 sifrei Torah were completed at the Kinus banquet, a first in Jewish history.
Jokes aside
All jokes aside, it would be nice if the video would promote Rabbis speaking words of torah and inspiration rather then using this video coverage to discuss rappers.
