The court said that the defendant's racist motives - he told investigators he was a declared anti-Semite - contributed to the sentence.
The man was in Vienna as a tourist last November and said that when he saw the Jewish pupils at Vienna's Lauder Chabad School he decided that there were 'too many Jews in this country.'

I used to think that Lubavitchers wore black hats.
A year spent in Tzfas and witnessing one of the world's most lively and cohesive bunches of Lubavitchers changed my mind. It's become pretty clear to me that Lubavitchers definitely do not wear black hats.
Because a Lubavitcher doesn't wear a black hat, he doesn't have to get it cleaned by a professional. Nor does he have to put it in a special place when he comes home everyday. When a Lubavitcher travels, he doesn't have to bring his hat box. For what hat?

Inspired by Henson — and Schneerson
Dovid Taub has two main inspirations: Jim Henson and the Lubavitcher rebbe. Through his ability to knit threads of holiness and ancient kabbalistic wisdom into the fabric of his puppetry, Taub has created a comedy sitcom to which fellow Hasidim return every week. The “Itche Kadoozy Show” features a Hasidic rabbi and his troublemaking young neighbor who poke lots of fun at each other and see the world through very different eyes, yet ultimately learn life’s mystical lessons from each other. Through these opposing characters, Taub brings a new dimension to his genre — secularism and sacredness mingled into one — leaving all types of fans begging for more.

Gravity Pull of Israeli Astronaut Ilan Ramon Still Felt on the Space Coast
Kennedy Space Center, FL — Israeli Astronaut Ilan Ramon may have soared to Heaven four years ago but his gravity pull still seems to be felt on the ground at Kennedy Space Center, Florida. At least this was the mood in the atmosphere when an Israeli group came to memorialize their hero. Forty Israeli high school freshmen and their teachers made the trip of their young lifetime to visit Kennedy Space Center in Florida. The students are enrolled in a pilot space studies program meant to encourage interest in science, so it would seem they crossed half the globe mainly to be wowed by mammoth rockets and gleaming space station components. But the truth is they came to pay tribute to a lost explorer.
