120 Chabad Houses on Campus and Counting…

Merkos Linyonai Chinuch is pleased to announce the addtion of one more Chabad House on campus, bringing the total number of Chabad at university campuses to 120. This marks the 65th Chabad House to be established over the past five years on campus, which had literally doubled Chabad’s presence on universities around the world.

Thanks to the trailblazing funding by the Rohr and Tabacinik families, Who’s care for Shluchim worldwide is legendary. The campus salary initiative is already totaling over $8,500,000 in the past five years alone, Campus Shluchim are therefore able to focus on their outreach and educational efforts. “This is a truly a revolution for Jewish life on Campus” Said Rabbi Moshe Kotlarsky, “which has changed the Jewish landscape on 120 university campuses around the world”.

Each Chabad on Campus Shliach receives funding of $40,000 during each of the first three years, by the Rohr Family Foundation. In addition, millions more have been given by the Rohr’s for the purchase of buildings to house Chabad’s growing presence on tens of universities in the U.S., Canada and around the world.

The Chabad on Campus National Foundation is operated by a dedicated committee, who’s tireless efforts and concern is responsible for the growth, comprised of Rabbis Menachem Schmidt, Philadelphia. Nechemia Vogel, Rochester. Aaron Slonim, Binghamton and Hirschy Zarchi. Harvard. and chaired by Rabbi Kotlarsky

Its national office is administered by Rabbi Moshe Chaim Dubrowski.

    Wow, I was wondering why the last few years i have seen so many yong shluchim move to campus –

    its amazing the work they do!!!
    you get to see them every year when they bring hundreds of students to CH!

    and to see how people can give so much money to support yidishkait and to so many diffrent chabad houses is very inspiring

    they must be a very special family!!!
