Cornell President Shakes Lulav at Local Chabad Sukkah

ITHACA, NY [CHI] — Over 200 students and faculty got to partake in the Mitzvah of shaking the Lulav at Etrog on campus at Cornell University, the highlight was when the president of the university Mr. David J. Skorton dropped in to do so as well.

NY State Senator Works Closely with Chabad on Security

CROWN HEIGHTS — New York State Senator Eric Adams (D) visited with some of his constituents in a Sukkah in the Crown Heights Jewish community, Monday evening.

The Senator, who is also NYS Chairman of the Veterans, Homeland Security and Military Affairs met with leaders of the Chabad Lubavitch movement where the conversation focused on the activities of Chabad and its security needs.

Residents Upset After Condo Association Removes Sukkah

BAL HARBOUR, FL [WSVN] — Several residents of a condominium are outraged after the condo association removed a religious Jewish symbol.

A Resident of a Bal Harbor condominium recorded a video showing what he discovered Monday morning, after his religious symbol called a Sukkah was dismantled. “Having a little hut that’s 6-by-8 to be bothering someone is really ridiculous,” said the resident.
