  • Where are the Crowds?

    I am shocked … I have not been in CH for many years for these nights…. but if you look at the pictures taken from the roof tops …. you can tell the crowds are not there.

    There are maybe 700 people TOPS if that much.

    CH What did you do to the crowds?

    to all the people who are disgusted and shamed: Why are you disgusted and shamed? Halavie you should be proud that your brothers and sisters (who Hashem loves and doesn’t care whether they are waving yellow flags) get to dance in the streets like free yidden who choose to be frum yidden. I don’t think it’s anything to be disgusted or shamed about.

    I was there last night, and it was really a bit much. I’m all for yechi, but it was over the top. I was there for like two hours, and EVERY SINGLE SONG had yechi stuck into it. WHY? the niggun is nice enough without yechi. they should stop changing and manipulating the original words and niggunim

    I agree. This year doesn’t even come close to last years crowds. I remember having to squeeze through people to move about two inches. Even in the chilly weather it was warm amongst all those people. This year there’s considerably less people. People from Long Island, Flatbush, The Five Towns – there aren’t a lot of people this year. I miss last year’s crowd.

    That song makes zero sense and is pathetic. One is suposed to believe that ones rebbe is mashiach and the yechi issue is not at all about that
