It may not be quite as ubiquitous as holiday trees stands on the city’s sidewalks, but the sight of tin menorahs is certainly familiar to anyone who has lived here long enough – or, for that matter, anywhere else where outreach workers of the Chabad-Lubavitch movement can be found.

The Talmidei Hashluchim (Rabbinical Students) of the Yeshiva Gedolah and Smicha Program worked tirelessly to prepare magnificent Menoras using cutting edge technology and very bright LED bulbs bringing the light of Chankah to the Streets of Sydney.

Florida Teens Celebrate Chanukah Like Never Before

Over ten of Chabad Youth Networks public school teen groups had a Chanukah celebration! The teens had their very first taste of Chanukah with doughnuts and genuine homemade potato latkes made by Rebbetzen Dini Gutnick. The platter was licked clean within seconds. One teen exclaimed, “I can definitely do eight days of this!” From there, their Chanukah spirits were awakened, and they were ready for more!

200 Celebrate Chanukah at New Jersey Mall

Around 200 people gathered Tuesday evening to celebrate Chanukah, and to kindle the giant 9 Ft. Menorah at the Deptford Mall. The event, sponsored by Chabad of Gloucester County in conjunction with the mall, featured a balloon clown for the kids, music, dancing, and of course the traditional Chanukah foods – delicious latkes and Jelly doughnuts.

Orange County Celebrates Chanukah with a Sweet Twist

What sweeter way to make Chanukah memorable than a menorah with 100 pounds of jellybeans, sandy candy dreidels and Chanukah Candy Grams?

There was something sweet for everyone at Chabad’s “Chanukah in Candy Land” party, a twist on their annual Chanukah Bowl. The event was hosted by Chabad of Orange County, directed by Rabbi Pesach & Chana Burston.

Palm Beach County had its second hate crime this month against Jews when a menorah was bombarded with eggs at the Chabad Student Center in Boca Raton.

Rabbi Boruch Shmuel Liberow woke up Wednesday morning to find eggs and egg shells splattered around his 2008 Honda Civic that's topped with a two-foot menorah. The eggs dried up overnight and caused about $1,200 in damage to the car's paint, according to the police report.
