Chabad of Houston Celebrates with Chocolate Menorah

The Chabad of Uptown Houston is making this Chanukah a sweet experience.

Chabad members constructed what they hoped would become the world’s largest chocolate menorah, made up of 480 chocolate donuts, fruit roll-ups and edible gelt.

On the 6th night of Chanukah Wednesday, members met to light their giant chocolate menorah to celebrate.

The event was called ‘Judah Maccabee and the Chocolate Factory’, a phrase cleaverly plucked from the popular movie.

After the candles were lit and the chocolate structure torn apart, the leftovers were taken to a local Women’s shelter.
