ANTWERP, Belgium [CHI] — One of Antwerp’s large parks ‘City Park’ is also known as the ‘Cholent Park’ among its Jewish residents since its known as the place to go for a walk after the Shabbos meal. The park is located in the center of where most jews live in the city and is right near the local Chabad House.

It wasn’t just the Crown Heights schools that got to partake in the children’s Chanukah rally in 770, schools from across the states took part in say the 12 Pesukim and watched.
Made out of a massive slab of stone, this unique menorah, dubbed ‘the heaviest menorah in the world’, and was built in honor of the soldiers in the Israeli Defence Force, and was build by Ran Nachmani. The menorah stands at the entrance to the Kochav Yaakov settlement in Givat Binyamin.
The Friendship Circle of West Bloomfield, MI won $25,000 from the “Chase Community Giving” in which thousands of charities participated, and only the 100 with the most votes were selected, marking the first milestone in the possibility of the Friendship Circle to win the major prize of $1 million, or an additional $100 thousand.

It’s true: The much-loved Crown Heights Nightlife events are retaking their prominent positions on the calendars of single young women in and around Crown Heights. CROWN HEIGHTS, Brooklyn [CHI] – A fire truck severely damaged the door of a car after it was opened into it. The incident happened in front of 770 when a car parked in the ‘no standing’ zone opened its door after half the truck passed it by, causing it to get snagged on the truck and damaged.
