The Friendship Circle of West Bloomfield, MI won $25,000 from the “Chase Community Giving” in which thousands of charities participated, and only the 100 with the most votes were selected, marking the first milestone in the possibility of the Friendship Circle to win the major prize of $1 million, or an additional $100 thousand.

Friendship Circle Wins $25 Thousand from Chase!

The Friendship Circle of West Bloomfield, MI won $25,000 from the “Chase Community Giving” in which thousands of charities participated, and only the 100 with the most votes were selected, marking the first milestone in the possibility of the Friendship Circle to win the major prize of $1 million, or an additional $100 thousand.

In a statement to CrownHeights.info Rabbi Levi Shemtov, Directore of the Friendship Circle said “Thank you all for voting, this is a major Kiddush Hashem and a great help to the Friendship Circle, this is going to help promote everything that we do.” He added that “we want to use out the next phase, in which only 100 charities are participating, to really raise the profile of the Friendship Circle and the good work we do for the children and special needs community.”

The Friendship Circle provides assistance and support to the families of children with special needs as well as to individuals and families struggling with addiction, isolation, and other crises. In addition to helping those in need, the Friendship Circle empowers and enriches its network of volunteers, the majority of whom are teenagers, by enabling them to reap the vast rewards of giving of themselves.
