Elderly Driver Suffers Heart Attack and Crashes

A driver crashed her car in to an electricity pole at the intersection of Maple Street and Kingston Avenue Monday evening after suffering a heart attack while at the wheel. The driver, an elderly black woman, was driving down Maple when for no apparent reason crashed directly into the pole and a relatively slow speed.

Enjoy hypocrisy? This past weekend you could glut the appetite.

On Monday, Israeli ships stopped a flotilla carrying materials that could be used for war, including cement that Israel maintained could be used to build bunkers, to Hamas-ruled Gaza. The crew of one boat resisted violently, triggering a firefight in which nine people were killed, most of them Turkish nationals.

Baby Moshe Still Awaits Compensation

Grandfather of baby Moshe, one of the youngest survivors of the 26/11 terrorist attacks, is still waiting for an announcement regarding compensation for his grandson.

Moshes parents, Rabbi Gavriel Holtzberg and his wife Rivka, were among five hostages killed at Nariman House, the Chabad Jewish centre at Colaba. Moshe, who is half American, was rescued by his Indian nanny Sandra Samuel.

ULY Students Awarded for Tanya Baal Peh Achievements

Seventy one students of the United Lubavitcher Yeshiva in Crown Heights learned Tanya Ba’al Peh as part of a program begun by Rabbi Mordechai and Mrs. Shterney Kanelsky of the Bris Avrohom Center in Hillside, New Jersey. The Bas Sheva Mitzvah Campaign to Greet Moshiach was launched in loving memory of their beloved daughter, Bat Sheva ob”m, who passed away seven years ago. The fact that there were seventy one students who participated in the program this year at the Lubavitcher Yeshiva is significant because this is the 71st anniversary of the institution in America.
