Friendship Circle Volunteer Appreciation Event
More than 250 Friendship Circle volunteers from many different schools, including Beis Rivkah, Bnos Menachem, Beis Chaya Mushka, Ohr Chana and Bnos Chomesh, joined together for an evening of appreciation and entertainment.
Friendship Circle Director, Chaya Eckhaus, thanked the volunteers for their yearlong dedication and commitment, noting that the positive feedback received from parents this year far exceeded her wildest expectations.
Volunteer coordinator, Chaya Chein, introduced the new volunteer presidents, and thanked the outgoing presidents, Sara Mochkin, Zeldy Minkowitz and Mushka Greene of Beis Rivkah, and Shaina Frimerman and Chainky Friedman of Bnos Menachem for their efforts in ensuring the programs’ success.
The volunteers enjoyed an assortment of desserts, including smores, milkshakes, fruits, cookies and more.
A special award was given to Volunteers of the Year, Faigy Berns and Mushky Borisute.
After a year of giving of themselves, and helping others have fin, the volunteers were treated to a stunning musical performance by Moshe Hecht.
Each girl left with a beautiful Friendship Circle sweatshirt, and a copy of Moshe Hecht’s release, “My Friend.”
