The Rebbe’s deep knowledge and analysis of the situation in Israel and its defense and security needs are legendary. Did you ever wish you were in the room to hear it for yourself? Over 20 years ago, in summer 5740 – 1980, Israeli radio broadcaster, Motti Eden came to interview the Rebbe for Israeli radio station, Kol Yisrael. As a true journalist, Motti brought in a small tape recorder to record the conversation in Yechidus.

A group of concerned residents have come out campaigning against the installation of speed bumps on various blocks around the neighborhood. The newest block scheduled to get these new bumps is Montgomery Street between New York and Brooklyn Avenue, and the concern is the delay police, ems, and fire will suffer when responding to emergencies.

And even as we have accepted in faith all that has come to pass, “Baruch dayan emet”, we are still left unable to stem the flood of tears. We are left with a raw cry of pain.

Levi was such a powerful soul. He loved Shlichus, he lived Shlichus. Shlichus was the very air he breathed.

The police officers stopping the 3 Bochurim and serving them with criminal summonses.

On October 24th three Bochurim were stopped by police and received criminal court summonses for 'blocking pedestrian traffic' on Carroll and Kingston. The victims contacted a civil rights lawyer who is looking into bringing a lawsuit against the police for their actions, and they are seeking other similar victims.
