Pedestrian Struck and Hurt on Empire
CROWN HEIGHTS [CHI] — A pedestrian was struck by a turning vehicle and injured this afternoon.
The incident took place in the intersection of Empire Boulevard and Albany Avenue, where the minivan was making a right turn from Albany and didn’t notice the woman crossing, and knocked her down.
A Shomrim member who was driving down Albany saw the accident and jumped out to help, while calling for backup and EMS.
The woman was transported to a local hospital.
Where are Shomrim?
For sure they are there. May Hashem continue blessing you and keep you safe.

Once again, our Jewish volunteers rush to help our Black neighbors. Do they ever get thanked? (forget donations!)
