The problem is the prevalent practice of Lubavitch families employing non-Jewish (predominantly Hispanic) women to work in their homes assisting with housework and/or child care.

On Thursday, July 12th, rocks, mud and trees crashed down a mountain above the shores of Kootenay Lake in British Columbia, ripping through Johnsons Landing. Gathered in Danbury Connecticut, over 150 Mechanchim are taking part in a two day conference aimed at sharpening their teaching skills as well as presenting and discussing new ideas. The conference is organized by the Chinuch Office which is directed by Rabbi Nochum Kaplan.
Tzfat Police Open Shul With Recovered Sefer Torah

Deriving inspiration from its role in the recovery of six stolen Torah scrolls, the Tzfat branch of the Israel Police has established a synagogue in the local police station and arranged for the use of one of the scrolls belonging to the holy city’s historic Tzemach Tzedek Synagogue.
