It only seemed natural that one of my first missions after being appointed head of the Israeli General Security Service (known as the Shabak) in 1988 would be to travel to the United States. Left with no other choice, his parents are instructed by the Torah to bring him before the Beis Din (Jewish court) to have him sentenced to death. A tragic ending to what could have been such a promising life…
