Seven years ago was the first time Sumy Ukraine saw a public Menorah. It was in the middle of what is now known as ‘the orange revolution,’ and there was little hope that the government would allow a public menorah.

Marking 25 years to the chasiddims victory in the ‘Seforim Case’ hundreds gathered in Beis Rivkah Campus Chomesh and marked the occasion with a farbrengen in which they heard from a notable guest, Mr. Bruce J. Teitelbaum who served as an aid to the judge in the case.
