The Yeshivas Erev program of Crown Heights ended a year of learning with an event, addressed by Rabbi Yitzchok Hanoka, and prizes awarded for achievement.
Reb Yisroel Jacobson was born in Zurowitz, White Russia in 1895 * He arrived in the town of Lubavitch to study at age 10 * He traveled to America in 1925, and served as the Frierdiker Rebbe’s trusted Askan until the latter’s arrival in 1940 * He passed away on the 17th of Sivan, 1975 in New York.
Rabbi J.J. Hecht leads the children in bestowing the Priestly Blessing upon the Rebbe, followed by the singing of the Tzivos Hashem song, We Want Moshiach Now! 27 Tishrei, 5744 · October 4, 1983.

I’m a hard working mother of four. My husband takes the subway to work in the morning and returns home in the early evening; I remain at home with the two younger ones. I am busy all day cooking, cleaning, feeding, changing, nursing and bathing. Many of you will sympathize with me (I know Ann Romney will) when I say that I work every day; I just don’t get paid for it.
