With great sadness we inform you of the passing of Reb Aharon Elozor Mogilevsky, OBM, at the age of 93.
Reb Aharon was a longtime resident of Crown Heights and member of Congregation Re’im Ahuvim, which is located near his Carroll St. home.
IYH this Wednesday, 15 Cheshvan (October 31), there will be a rally at the Ohel for all children ages 5 to 12.
Buses will leave 770 at 5:00 PM and return at 7:30 PM. Transportation will cost $3.

Last night at about 2:00am, the Nachman family awoke to discover rising flood waters engulfing their home – located in the Brooklyn neighborhood of Mill Basin. To make matters worse, the flooding caused a gas malfunction which released large amounts of carbon monoxide – a lethal poison.

A CrownHeights.info photographer roamed the mostly-deserted streets of New York City on Monday, capturing scenes of Hurricane Sandy’s carnage from around Crown Heights, the Brooklyn Bridge, Red Hook and the Verrazano Bridge.
Despite earlier reports, Crown Heights’ schools will mostly remain open today, Tuesday, due to the fact that the bad weather has subsided.
New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo‘s office tonight confirmed at least five storm-related deaths in New York. The first of which was a 30-year-old man in Flushing, Queens.
