“Nightlife” Getting New Life

“Nightlife,” the program made popular among young single women in the community just a few years ago, is coming back to life under the new directorship of Rabbi Chaim Miller and his wife Chani, along with a committee of dedicated volunteers. Their first objective: A fall semester with the opening event on Tuesday, September 11.

On Monday morning, 13 children in grades 7, 8, and 9 who attend the Chabad School in Berlin-Charlottenburg were subjected to anti-Semitic taunts such as “Are you Jewish?” and were photographed by a group of several unidentified “Southern” youths believed to be Muslims.

Well-known Hollywood actor and producer David Arquette paid a visit last Thursday to the Chabad Residential Treatment Center in Los Angeles.
