Ten New Rabbis Ordained in South Africa
Ten Bochurim learning in the Machon Lehora’ah Smicha program in Pretoria, South Africa, received Smicha this week. The program, under the auspices of Rabbi Levi Wineberg, is known as one of the most intense Smicha programs in Lubavitch.

Recovering Actor Gives Back to Chabad

Well-known Hollywood actor and producer David Arquette paid a visit last Thursday to the Chabad Residential Treatment Center in Los Angeles. Arquette, who has struggled with alcoholism, toured the premises and shared his own story of addiction and sobriety in an emotional discussion with the center’s residents.

So when I heard that a friend I’d referred was recently promoted to COO, I was very excited.
