Shluchim Online School has Day of Celebration

What is a Kinus Hashluchim without programming for the Shluchims children? The Shluchim Online School hosted a Day of Celebration for 65 of their students who traveled to New York with their fathers. The students spent part of the day in regular Oholei Torah classrooms, had a reunion brunch and went bowling!

100’s of College Students Experience Shabbos in CH

Chabad on Campus held its acclaimed International Shabbaton and Conference for students this past Shabbos. Despite Hurricane Sandy and all of the related travel and administrative complications, the Shabbaton was experienced without a hitch and attracted a crowd of 650 participants from across North America and Europe including many who experienced a travel ordeal to get there.

Fraternity Hosts Chabad Autism Fundraiser

Rylan Whiteman, a 10-year-old from East Lynn, Ill., challenges an opponent in rock-paper-scissors to begin a game of hand ball at Ally Oop for Autism, held on Sunday at the Activities and Recreation Center.

The University of Illinois’ Zeta Beta Tau fraternity partnered with Illini Chabad and The Friendship Circle on Sunday to host the sixth annual Alley Oop for Autism fundraiser for children with special needs.

They have arrived; from Singapore and Beer Sheva, California and Odessa, South Korea and North Cyprus, Bulgaria and the peaks of the Himilaya. They are all gathered in Crown Heights, in 770 and at the Ohel for the annual spiritual recharge. This afternoon the registration officially began, headed by Rabbi Schneur Najar and his staff, who welcomed Shluchim with warm greetings.
