Gov. Declares State of Emergency; Mulls Travel Ban

New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, warning that conditions during the snowstorm will be “dangerous and difficult,” declared a state of emergency today for New York City and suburban areas to the north and east.

Update: New York City streets to be off-limits to non-emergency traffic beginning at 11:00pm tonight.

Update: As of 7:30am Tuesday all travel bans have been lifted across New York State.
