As we approach Tisha B’Av, we present a letter from the Rebbe in which he responds to a professor at Bar Ilan University in Israel who was seeking an explanation as to why G-d allowed the Holocaust to happen. The letter, written originally in English, is from the archives of the Rebbe’s personal trusted secretary, Rabbi Nissan Mindel.
