“Shimon Peres‘ long relationship with the Lubavitcher Rebbe and the Chabad movement weathered various differences,” said Rabbi Yehuda Krinsky, Chairman of the Chabad-Lubavitch Educational and Social Services divisions. “But he remained a devoted friend and encouraged the work of the Rebbe’s shluchim throughout his life.”
Avremi Groner, a devoted husband and beloved father of five young children, was diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer earlier this year. After several months battling the illness, he sadly passed away. Today is his Shloshim, marking a month since his passing and the family has launched a campaign to raise much needed funds.
