This week, as we begin the month of Elul, we present a letter of greeting from the Rebbe to the king of Spain. In it, the Rebbe points out the significance of the month of Elul, a time when the King of Kings goes out into the field, and a time of preparation for the Day of Judgment for Jews and for all mankind. The letter, written originally in English, is from the archives of the Rebbe’s personal trusted secretary, Rabbi Nissan Mindel.
