A rocket was launched from Gaza into Israeli territory Wednesday, targeting an IDF base. A “Code Red” alarm was heard in the Nahal Oz military base located a community in the Sha’ar Hanegev Regional Council. According to the IDF, no one was injured and no damage was caused.

At a special Chof Av event in Alma Atta, with participants from across the globe, a farbrengen was held with Rabbi Yehuda Leib Shapiro, Rosh Yeshiva of Tomchei Temimim Miami, and Rabbi Moshe Kotlarsky the Vice Chairman of Merkos L’Inyonei Chinuch.
A two-year-old child was pulled out of a pool in Jackson, NJ, on Wednesday morning. Lakewood Hatzolah was on the scene at the incident at around 9:30AM, and found the child in cardiac arrest. After working on the child, Hatzolah Paramedics regained a pulse. The child was being rushed to the hospital.
On Chof Av, the yartzeit of the Rebbe’s father, Reb Levi Yitzchak, a Pan Haklali was read at his Tzion in Alma Atta, Kazahkastan. The Pan was read by Rabbi Moshe Katlarsky, who flew in from New York special for the occasion.

A 21-year-old Lubavitch Bochur R”L drowned on a beach in Mexico. It happened on a beach on the island of Cozumel, a mostly undeveloped Mexican island in the Caribbean Sea. The island is famed for its scuba diving. The victim is a resident of Be’er Sheva.
