An 8 year old boy has been pulled from the water near Haverstraw after the boat he was on capsized. He was transported to the hospital with CPR in progress.

While I wasn’t planning on posting anything this week as it is chol hamoed and Simchas Beis hashoieva, however, during some farbrengens I mentioned something that I thought was known, but people were surprised that no one else mentioned it. Evidently it is not well-known. So I thought that many may find the following observation, important.
Mitzva on the spot, for people on the go. Shmuel Goldberg of Coram, NY asked a woman on the NYC subway if she was Jewish, she replies to the affirmative. He then helped her in making a blessing on the Lulav and Esrog.
Thousands of women, woman and children from all circles attended the Simchas Bais Hashoeva dancing in Kiryat Gat. The event was organized by Chabad of Kiryat Gat headed by Rabbi Meir Meiri. Each evening, singers and keyboardists, among the best in the country, played for the masses, while a fire juggler entertained.
