Teens Make Special “Peace Menorahs” for IDF Soldiers

The Chabad-Lubavitch of Teaneck teen club gathered for a hands-on lesson of peace and tolerance by assembling Chanukah menorahs for soldiers in the Israel Defense Forces that included spent bullet casings in the construction. “A bullet, which is a symbol of warfare and oppression,” said Rabbi Michoel Goldin of Chabad of Teaneck, “was used to create a menorah, a symbol of peace and freedom.”
