Incendiary Balloons Causing Waves of Fires Near Gaza
The firing of incendiary balloons from Gaza has increasing dramatically. At least four fires have broken out since the morning hours in the Gaza perimeter – in the Be’eri and Shokeda forests and near Kibbutz Nahal Oz. A major blaze near Ashkelon is also believed to have been started by a balloon.

A helicopter taking off from a helipad in Manhattan had a failure and crashed into the river. The pilot was the only occupant on board, and managed to escape without serious injury.
