Weekly Story: Be Connected Even When You Are Not Here

While the chossid was thrilled that the Rebbe asked him to do something for him, he was somewhat shocked, as he knew the Rebbe wasn’t a cigar-smoker and couldn’t understand, why from all things, this is what the Rebbe requested. But never-the-less for a chossid to be able to do something for his Rebbe, is the greatest honor, and he readily replied, “I will definitely do so.”

Beginning at 19 years old, when he was the youngest synagogue minister to ever serve in the United Kingdom, Rabbi Dov Lent held various rabbinical and teaching positions for twenty years. In 1987, with the Rebbe’s blessing, he opened a dairy company, which is still running today. He was interviewed by JEM’s My Encounter with the Rebbe project in his home in March of 2015.
