Motzai Shabbos: Melava Malka and $18,000 Raffle!

This Motzai Shabbos, men and women are invited to join Hatzalah of Crown Heights for a Melava Malka, featuring a hot buffet and wine tasting, alongside a health symposium and entertainment by Yehuda Green, a noted singer and composer. Also, a trio of fine California red wines will be raffled off among those in attendance.

Tonight: Senior Resources Seminar

Tonight, Wednesday, January 11, 2107, a seminar is planned featuring speakers  Devorah Gershowitz, Crown Height CDPAP Coordinator for Heart to Heart Home Care, and Shoshana R. Brenenson, Esq., Crown Heights Elder Law attorney.  The panel will discuss planning and tactics for Long Term Care, navigating Medicaid rules, and how to structure Homecare to suit the needs of you and your family.

Sunday: Drug Prevention Evening

Operation Survival will be hosting a drug awareness and prevention evening in the Oholei Torah Ballroom on Sunday evening, Jan. 8th, at 7:45pm. Men and women in the community are invited for this special event, dubbed “We Need to Talk About Prevention,” to highlight the need for prevention strategies and an increased awareness and understanding of the drug problem in Crown Heights.

Tonight: Aguch Hey Teves Farbrengen at Beis Rivkah

Anash and Tmimim are invited to partake in the annual Central Hey Teves Farbrengen tonight – Tuesday, January 3rd – 9:00pm, in the Rose Hall in Campus Chomash, 470 Lefferts Ave. Rabbis, Roshai Yeshivos, Mashpiim and Shluchim will be recalling the events that led to the Didan Natzach – the joyous victory of the Rebbe and the Chabad movement over the possession of the Agudas Chassidei Chabad library.
