As fear of the spread of the Novel Coronavirus into the Crown Heights Jewish community takes hold, a sign was posted in 770 urging everyone to wash their hands each time they enter the shul.
The Aliyah Shul on East New York Ave in Crown Heights has seen extensive renovations this year. One of the upgrades happens to be the front doorway, which for the second time, is sponsored in memory of Schabse Noach, by Crown Heights businessman Shaya Gordon and his wife Chanie.

While returning from an emergency call, a group of Crown Heights Hatzalah volunteers stopped to help a stranded Lubavitcher power his electric vehicle on the side of the Jackie Robinson Parkway. With time to spare as the car powered up, the crew posed with the stranded motorist and snapped this photo.
Williamsbug Shomrim put their new patrol car to good use Motzei Shabbos as it helped secure the area of the New York State Armory in Williamsburg. Thousands of Shluchim have descended on the armory as part of the International Kinus Hashluchos this weekend. The Shluchos attended workshops and meals at the armory throughout the weekend.
This past Friday, an elderly Jewish Russian couple officially got married at the Chabad synagogue for Soviet immigrants located on Herzl Street in Haifa. The Chosen is 96 years old and the Kallah is 91, they are both Holocaust survivors.

The line for a free bagel at Holesome Bagels in Crown Heights was out the door just minutes after 7am Sunday, as community members queued up to get their free bagel. The free bagel offer lasted from 7am-10am, with a limit of one bagel per person, with a maximum of 500 bagels.
