Over 2000 Get Pumped for their First JewQ Test

2123 Hebrew school students from 127 cities around the world took the very first test of JewQ 5780. JewQ is the international Torah competition that’s taking the Hebrew school community by storm. Modeled after the popular Chidon Sefer Hamitzvos, kids study and take tests that determine who qualifies for a Shabbaton in Crown Heights—and who will represent their school onstage at the highly-anticipated competition event.

36th Annual International Minyan for NYC Marathoners

The 49th New York City Marathon, on Sunday, November 3, included 53,000 runners from 120 different countries, 97% of whom reached the finish line. It has become the premier event of its kind in the world. One of the many features that makes this event so unique is the International Minyan for New York City Marathoners, which bills itself as the longest established religious service of any kind, at any major sporting event, anywhere in the world.

This Shabbos at the Besht: Rabbi Binyomin Schlanger lives in Jerusalem with his wife. Throughout his lifetime he has dedicated himself to many different projects and institutions involved in Hafotzas Hama’ayonos. He currently spends the majority of his day learning and translating sichos of the Rebbe dedicated to Shleimus Ha’aretz and to the Sichos of Nun Aleph, Nun Beis of our final mission in Golus to be Mekabel Pnei Moshiach Tzidkenu.
