A fire broke out in a Lefferts Ave two floor brownstone home around 8:00am Friday morning. No one was home when the fire started, and no one was injured in the blaze.
50th Anniversary For Lubavitch of Scotland
his past Sunday 12th Cheshvan – 10th November Lubavitch of Scotland held their 50th Anniversary Golden Jubilee Dinner in Glasgow. Scotland’s Senior Rabbi & Rebbetzen Chaim and Sora Jacobs who are directors of Lubavitch of Scotland have been serving as the Rebbe’s Shluchim in since 5730 and were one of the first 50 shluchim to set up a Chabad House presence in a city sent by the Rebbe.

Williamsburg Shomrim made an awareness campaign Wednesday night as they attempted to educate the community about vehicle break in prevention. A whopping 67 vehicles were found to be unlocked on just seven streets in Williamsburg.
#Letschalkshabbat On The 3 & 4 Line
Just before Chai Elul, the Mivtzoim Depot of Lubavitch Youth org. held a campaign where women and girls conquered the stations of the 3 train line. Girls chose their stop, picked up stencils, chalk, spray chalk and lots of neshek, and went on their way to brighten up their stop – and the entire world! Crown Heights this week will lead the world in sharing mitzvos with fellow women through ‘chalkingshabbat’ on both the 3 and 4 train lines.

Digging the New Digs at Chabad of Indiana University
Chabad of Indiana University’s new home is only a short block away from its predecessor, but its central location acts as a magnet to the school’s 3,000 Jewish students. The new building boasts 7,000 square feet, almost double the space of its previous quarters, across tall-ceilinged, light-filled rooms. In most ways, it far surpasses Chabad’s home of 30 years.
