This past Friday night there was a terrible fire in Crown Heights. As the family were sitting down to eat Shabbos dinner, a major electrical fire broke out on the roof of their house. Two families had to be evacuated and there was heavy damage to the home, as well as to all their possessions. Ahavas Chesed is spearheading a campaign to raise funds for the families.
To end off a year of amazing programs at Friendship Circle, FC treated the Boys Division volunteers to an end-of-year barbeque. The dedicated volunteers use their one-hour dinner break to attend Friendship Circle programs, no matter what else is going on.
