Residents on Montgomery St. between Kingston and Brooklyn Ave. – the same block that saw a devastating fire last night – awoke this morning to find that twelve parked cars had their tires slashed.

At around 12:20 this afternoon, a man walked into Apple Bank on Albany Ave. and handed the teller a note demanding money. He did not display any weapon.

The thieves can [barely] be seen in the top right corner of the video, arriving in what seems to be a black Nissan or Infinity. They arrived in two trips, taking the left tires first and then returning for the right ones. The theft occurred between 2:00 and 5:00am.
