An exhilarating display of Jewish Pride filled the Kia Center, as over 19,000 fans gathered to celebrate Jewish Heritage Night with the Orlando Magic.
Teachers and staff of Lubavitch Educational Center’s schools were treated to a special Chanukah men’s evening of appreciation at the home of LEC parents and supporters Mendy and Chani Fischer. The event was organized by the school’s Simcha Fund, which provides financial gifts to staff members on the occasion of their simchas.
New York City Mayor Eric Adams joined for the lighting of the giant menorah at Fifth Avenue and 59th Street in Manhattan on Wednesday, the eighth and last night of Chanukah. “This is more than a ceremonial event that takes place in this stage of our history,” Adams said in front of the menorah. “It is a reminder that darkness can never overcome light.”
