Video of the Monday Morning Accident

Surveillance footage from security cameras unveiled how much more of a miracle a Bochur and a member of Anash had at 7:00am on Monday morning.

The video shows the two vehicles colliding then making their way up onto the sidewalk, a second camera shows the Bochur up against the wall and his reflection visible on the windows of the van, depicting just how close he was to the final point of impact, while at the same time showing how a member of Anash jumps out of the vans way just in the nick of time.

Bochur is Lucky to be Alive Following Accident

CROWN HEIGHTS, Brooklyn [CHI] — A fifteen year old Bochur is very lucky to be alive this morning, following an early morning crash on Kingston Avenue and Montgomery Street, where a fifteen passenger car service van and a large SUV were involved in a collision which sent them both on to the sidewalk.

Bystanders told CrownHeights.info that the van was speeding up Kingston but it wasn’t immediately clear who ran the red light. The Bochur, who was crossing Montgomery Street, was hit by the van and was thrown against the wall of Kol-Tuv with the van following him and slamming into the wall a few inches from the Bochur!

Big Miracle at a Chabad Wedding in Baltimore

BALTIMORE, MD [CHI] — A Big miracle took place just a few hours ago when the atrium, a glass roof of the Hunt Valley Hotel came crashing down into a pile of twisted metal and shards of glass.

This incident happened has hotel guests were getting ready for the wedding of Ben-Tzion Groner (Charlotte, NC) and Rochel Adler (Baltimore, MD) which was set to take place later that day.

Moti Groner, a brother of the Chosson told reporters that the Kallah was actually set to be taking pictures there at the time of the collapse, but was delayed for 20 minutes. He said that “it’s a little miracle for us, so were a little happy for that”. Rabbi Yossi Groner told reporters.

Bochur Struck by a Car

CROWN HEIGHTS, Brooklyn [CHI] – Last night, Monday, at around 9:45pm a Bochur was struck by a passing car in front of 749 Eastern Parkway. The driver, a member of Anash, stopped and called Hatzalah and waited at the scene.

Lubavitcher Girl Killed in Car Crash, Another Critically Injured

A car with three Lubavitcher girls was involved in a terrible accident in South Carolina on the U.S. 501 in Horry County early this morning. The Sun News reported that Toby Eagle, 20, of Baltimore, MD was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident and that another of the passengers Meital Marcel Chabusha, of Brooklyn, NY was ejected from the vehicle and is listed in critical condition, a third passenger was not injured.

Driver Crashes into House on Crown Street

Crown Heights, Brooklyn — At around 11:30am a woman driving a BMW crashed into a reinforced gate of a home at the intersection of Crown Street and Brooklyn Avenue. The car appeared to have been heading down Brooklyn and upon reaching the intersection it lost control and collided with the gate.

Hit and Run Accident on Empire and Troy

Crown Heights, Brooklyn — At around 10:00pm on Motzoai Shabbos a minivan driving up Troy Ave was rear ended by a large SUV at the intersection of Empire Blvd. The driver, a woman, was complaining of back pains and not feeling well. 911 was called and FDNY EMS and Police responded.
